What is Jme?

Jme is a streaming service that delivers Japanese programs and content over the internet. It can be viewed on a variety of devices such as TVs, computers, and smartphones in the U.S. and Canada. If you are in the United States or Canada, you can watch both at home and on the go. The service is made up of TV channels and On Demand content.

 

TV Service

NHK WORLD PREMIUM – Live broadcasts of NHK programs including news, documentaries, dramas, and sports. Some programs are also available for Look-Back viewing for up to 7 days.

NHK WORLD-JAPAN (English) – Live broadcasts in English featuring the latest news and information from Japan.

Jme Select – Specially curated NHK programs arranged in 8-hour blocks, broadcast three times daily to fit North American time zones.

Kids Channel – Three hours of children’s programming broadcast six times a day, Monday through Friday.

Drama Channel – Weekly collections of series such as "Serial Drama," "Drama 10," "Premium Drama," and "Night Drama," streamed on weekends.

Sports Channel – Replays of various sports events available for a limited time.

Jme Grand Sumo – Live broadcasts and highlight coverage during the Grand Sumo tournaments.
